Our Services
Hargreaves Engineering are committed to assuring that all systems, components and processes of an industrial plant are according to the operational requirements of the owner or final client.
This includes process verification that the facility and all its system components are designed, installed, tested and operated to meet the project requirements.
DeltaV Systems Upgrades
On behalf of our clients, we have carried out full plant control system upgrades to new Emerson DeltaV control. During these upgrades we have been responsible for planning and executing the function testing of DCS and SIS field devices. We have also been retained onsite following handover to provide training and operational support on the new systems.
FASP – Forties Alpha Satellite Platform
The FASP has a production capacity of 25,000bpd. It provided 18 new slots for drilling additional development wells. We were heavily involved in the full commissioning of this facility including Power Generation, Gas Compression, Gas Dehydration, Separation and Utilities.
Power Generation Upgrades
Responsible for the commissioning of 4 off Solar Titan 130 15 MW Gas Turbine generation sets to provide field power via a 33kV ring main. Project included new fuel gas scrubber systems, diesel treatment plant, HV and LV switchboards, Brush Power Management System (PMS).
LNG Process Trains
Providing engineering support during the installation and commissioning of new LNG Trains at the Ras Laffan site in Qatar. Our team were responsible for managing the loop / function testing of instruments back to their new Triconex ESD / DCS systems with over 15,000 I/O on each train.
